hi suzikatz my name is megan [aka jebediah_fan] and i regularly go thru the sportzblitz site too. just completed my second 12 week challenge - i am a 19 year old university student in western australia, studying a bachelor of primary education - and thinking about now trying for a third challenge. will see how this week goes. i TOTALLY relate to you, cos when i completed my first 12wks, i took a week off - which quickly turned into 3 ... and before i knew it, bad eating [including LOADS OF MARS BARS WONT GO INTO DETAILS OF THE REST] but the point is, i found the second 12 wks so much better once i got started: but i was more lenient this time round. didnt focus so much on the weight loss itself - but more of getting into a healthy lifestyle, exercising 6 times a week and having the occasional treat. its the hardest thing to do, to stay on track and not gorge on the cakes and sweets available, but i found that if i didnt cut out all the sweets and included as much variety as possible in my diet [including carbs for dinner for example], the weight will come off. it takes time, but it scared me that after working so hard, you can quickly fall off the rails and go back to old habits. the point is suzi, that you will get there. if you ever need someone to chat to, to complain to even, send me a msg [jebediah_fan@hotmail.com] and i will reply and help out where possible. i might not be a qualified trainer, but i know exactly what you will and have gone thru: cos i am still going through it too. if you think about it, exercising is the easy part - you know you have to get to the gym and do the weights or cardio or whatever, the HARD PART is the eating - remember to include your carbs and fruit and veggies and dairy and protein and such. keep going with the blog: i found with my blog [http://www.jebediah-fan.blogspot.com/]that it focusses you on what is going on with eating and exercise and such. well, good luck!!! send me a msg if you EVER want to chat ... megan
